Dr. Kasey Murphy

Psy.D., Rivier University (Combined Doctorate in Counseling and School Psychology) M.A., Johnson State College (Mental Health Counseling) B.A., University of Southern Maine (Media Studies)

Dr. Kasey Murphy received their Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2008 from Johnson State College (now Vermont State University) and subsequently has worked as a Master’s Level clinician since 2008 with adults, adolescents, children, and couples. In 2012, Dr. Murphy was accepted to Rivier University’s Doctorate of Education Program in Leadership and Learning before changing to the Combined Doctoral in Counseling and School Psychology in 2013. As part of their training, they completed their pre-doctoral internship at the Counseling Center at Keene State College working with transitional-aged youth.

Dr. Murphy’s dissertation research focused on the relationship between mindfulness, cravings, and the severity of mental health symptoms due to their interest in and experience working with individuals with substance abuse and severe and persistent mental illness. They also has additional research interests in disabilities, social justice, and school-based interventions for students with emotional difficulties.

Dr. Murphy is passionate about teaching and the connections that are made in the classroom. They often utilize their previous professional experiences to highlight concepts being discussed and deepen discussions. They maintain an active academic agenda and has a small telehealth private practice.

When not engaged in teaching or other academic interests, they may be found hiking, traveling, or spending time with their dog.


Dr. Melissa Coffey, PsyD, is a postdoctoral psychologist fellow. She works with individuals ages 5 through adulthood, with a focus on children and adolescents in both school and clinical settings. In addition to her clinical work, she is a licensed school psychologist and school counselor in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Her specialties include trauma, grief, divorce, family systems, educational challenges, anxiety, and depression. Melissa incorporates trauma-informed care in all aspects of her practice and draws from CBT, DBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy. Her background includes psychoeducational assessments, family systems work, and supporting LGBTQIA+ youth. She also has experience creating group programs that foster peer support and has researched the use of positive psychology in complex systems. Melissa earned her doctorate from Rivier University and holds additional degrees from Syracuse University and Liberty University. Outside of work, she teaches in higher education and enjoys family time, walking for mental wellness, and watching crime documentaries with her favorite snacks.

Melissa Charron Jarest, M.A., is a clinical mental health counselor (under supervision) and certified life coach offering telehealth services to adults navigating seasons of change. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about your next steps, Melissa provides a safe and supportive space to reconnect with your inner strength and clarity. Her work centers on whole-person wellness, emphasizing the connection between mind and body for meaningful, lasting healing.

Melissa specializes in self-worth and self-esteem, life transitions, and goal setting for personal growth. Her approach is warm, compassionate, and client-centered, blending clinical training with life coaching techniques, mindfulness practices, somatic awareness, and practical tools to support each journey

Filiz Wright, E.Ds.., is a pre-licensed mental health clinician and school psychologist who provides counseling for children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, ADHD, and learning differences. 

Her counseling approach is relational, evidence-based, and integrative, grounded in an understanding that each individual’s story and development are unique. Filiz draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and person-centered, nervous-system-informed interventions to foster emotional awareness, coping skills, and resilience.  With years of experience in schools and community settings, Filiz is passionate about helping clients build regulation, confidence, and connection within themselves and their relationships. Her practice is guided by warmth, curiosity, and collaboration, meeting each client where they are and supporting growth at their own pace. 

Outside of her work, Filiz enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, hiking, and camping across New England. She also speaks Turkish and values bringing a multicultural perspective to her practice.
